With a "modern" calendar that pays equal homage to the god Janus and to the numbers seven, eight, nine, and 10 (in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th months, respectively), it's no wonder calendar reform is an idea that's time has never come. Until now. We are throwing out those Roman gods, Roman emperors, and Roman numerals that were 1,000 years out of date when the calendar was new and replacing them with a personal day planner's worth of updated icons.
