27. "Two great tastes that taste great together" was the slogan for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the early 1980s. This slogan predates the introduction of Reese's Pieces. The television ads put two complete strangers, one carrying a generic chocolate bar and the other carrying a nameless jar of peanut butter, on a collision course, the result being a marriage of their foodstuffs. While skeptical at first, the colliders eventually realized how great their individual treats tasted when mixed together.
