1. As per the nostalgia currently popular among the mainstream media, the 1980s were a "go- go" time of mergers, junk bonds, deceit, and greed. While many people made sweet bundles during this decade, thanks in part to Reaganomics and insider trading, I was not one of them. I spent the 1980s pursuing my secondary and collegiate education, ostensibly preparing to make a sweet bundle in the 1990s.
